Supervised robotic infrastructure maintenance

Autonomous pavement repair for private and military airfields, Army bases, and public infrastructure.

PATCH Robotics is developing a human-supervised robotic platform for controlled pavement environments, designed to detect, repair, compact, and document pavement defects using high-performance cold-mix asphalt workflows.

The Maintenance Gap

Airfield pavement defects create safety, FOD, and readiness risk.

Cracks, potholes, loose aggregate, and freeze-thaw damage are more than pavement problems on an airfield. They can create FOD, damage aircraft, disrupt taxiway or runway operations, and delay maintenance until funding or contractor windows open. PATCH is being built for controlled environments where repair quality, short closure windows, and documentation matter.

Three things that change with PATCH.

01

Faster Controlled Repairs

  • Enables off-hour and nighttime maintenance windows
  • Reduces runway, taxiway, ramp, and base-road downtime
  • Supports rapid response to localized pavement defects
02

Verified Maintenance Records

  • Logs location, defect type, material usage, and before/after imagery
  • Creates digital repair records for airport/base maintenance teams
  • Helps prioritize recurring defects and future repair planning
03

Safer Airfield Operations

  • Designed for closed, geofenced maintenance zones
  • Human authorization before material placement
  • Supports FOD-aware repair workflows and post-repair verification
